This product is exactly what it says it is. There is only one down side to using this product that I could see. You need to be careful not to bump it while in use or during storage because it puts pressure on the plastic body of the lens and could potentially cause damage to the lens itself. It is also a bummer that you cant clip the lens cap in securely. the lens cap will fit but it doesn’t ClICK. The hood also doesn’t mount backwards which is more the lens fault than the hood.
